With the participation of a minister, an official African delegation, and international medical tourism agencies; the Sharjah Health and Medical Tourism Exhibition will be held from January 8 to 10, 2025.
The organizing company of the Sharjah Health and Medical Tourism Exhibition announced that the event will take place from January 8 to 10, 2025 at the Sharjah Exhibition Center. The General Manager of the organizing company indicated that the exhibition will witness the presence of an important delegation from an African country led by the Minister of Health in that country, to be announced soon. The exhibition will also host a delegation of representatives from medical tourism companies from various countries, visiting to explore the therapeutic, scientific, and technical capabilities of participating hospitals. This aims to strengthen cooperation in bringing patients for treatment to Sharjah, supporting the Emirate’s plans to become an international medical tourism destination.
The exhibition has seen a significant interest from hospitals, medical centers, medical care and rehabilitation facilities, and medical companies, with bookings already reaching 40% more than two months prior to the event. This indicates that all available spaces are expected to be reserved shortly.
Training courses in the field of medical tourism will be organized, focusing on establishing medical tourism departments within hospitals and medical centers, as well as modern marketing techniques in medical tourism. These courses will be taught by experts in the field, with accredited certificates awarded upon completion.
A substantial media coverage is anticipated at the Health and Medical Tourism Exhibition, with several television channels planning to attend and provide live coverage. Radio, newspapers, websites, social TV media platforms, and influencers will also contribute to the extensive media presence at the event.
